Refunds & cancellations.
We explain how cancellation and refund requests are reviewed for customized digital marketing services.
Effective date: October 28, 2026. These general practices are provided by Marca Makers LLC, doing business as Marka Makers. Your signed service agreement controls the specific terms of your project, subject to applicable law.
1. Scope of this policy
Services are customized for each client and may include strategy, creative production, SEO audits, content, advertising management, automation, consulting and recurring support. A written proposal or statement of work (SOW) identifies the service being purchased, scope, total cost, currency, delivery schedule and any disclosed nonrefundable commitments.
2. Cancelling before work starts
If you need to cancel before an agreed start date, email info@markamakers.com promptly. We will review whether work has already been performed, personnel time reserved, or third-party expenses committed. We will determine whether any prepaid, unused service fees are eligible for a refund, less any services already completed and any costs already committed, according to the written agreement and applicable law. No automatic full refund is promised for custom services.
3. Cancelling after work starts
Fees for completed work, time already spent, approved deliverables and committed third-party costs may remain due. Where the agreement permits cancellation and an unused prepaid balance exists, we will review it and communicate any available refund or credit. Custom professional services are not automatically eligible for a full refund after performance begins.
4. Ongoing or recurring services
If the client has monthly services or recurring billing, the notice period, renewal, minimum commitment and cancellation date are the terms specified in the signed agreement. Canceling a marketing engagement does not automatically cancel subscriptions or advertising charges billed separately by third-party vendors.
5. Advertising and vendor costs
Ad platform spend and outside services are governed by the relevant provider's rules. Already incurred media charges, production expenses and vendor commitments may be nonrefundable, even when the underlying project changes.
6. Errors, duplicate charges and disputes
If you believe an invoice or charge is incorrect, contact us as soon as possible with the invoice reference, company name and explanation. Do not include your full card number, CVV or banking password. We will review records and provide an appropriate response. This policy does not restrict any mandatory rights under applicable law or a payment card network's dispute process.
7. How to request cancellation or a refund
Write to info@markamakers.com with your company name, invoice number, service purchased, date of payment and reason for the request. We review requests in relation to the project agreement, work performed, amounts paid and applicable law. We will confirm our decision in writing. If we approve a refund, we will use the original payment method when supported by the provider, or another agreed lawful method. The time for a refund to appear in the cardholder account depends on the payment provider and bank. Your statutory and payment-network dispute rights are not waived by this process.
8. Questions before you pay
If a project scope, amount or due date is unclear, do not submit payment yet. Request an updated invoice or written clarification first using info@markamakers.com. See the Client Payments page for secure payment instructions.
